Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P Arrives in Russia Before Launch, Sentinelone, Copernicus:
Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P
The satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel -5P arrived in Plesetsk, Russia, before launching the decision on 13 October.
The mission of the Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P is to provide continuity of data for the Sisiamachi instrument aboard the Envisat satellite and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) instrument of NASA on board the Aura satellite between the completion of the Envisat and Ora missions and the launch of a guard. Without other missions able to get the data obtained by the Siyamashi and IMO, Sentinel meets 5p. What would be a five-year gap until the Sentinel-5 release.
Sentinel-5P is designed to provide daily updates on global air pollutants maps and should help monitor air quality worldwide.
Mission of Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P
The satellite is part of the European Space Agency’s Copernicus mission and will join five other satellites already in orbit after launch.

The task of Copernicus has been developed to provide operational data on land, oceans and atmosphere around the world to support the formulation of environmental and security policies and the service of citizens and satellite service providers.
The objectives of the Sentinel-5 satellite are to provide observations of space operations in support of operational monitoring of:
- Air quality
- Ozone and UV surface

Payload Of Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P
The Tropome instrument is a UV-Vis-Nir-Sawer UV-band spectrometer.
- Spectral range: 270-495 nm, 710-775 nm, 2305-2385 nm
- Spectral resolution: 0.25-0.55 nm
- Monitoring method: Analog vision, daily coverage around the world, 7×7 km ^2 Earth
- Weight: 200 kg
The Ranger-5P has a bandwidth of 2,600 km and is equipped with troposphere instruments that allow it to allocate a large amount of trace gases, including nitrogen dioxide, ozone, formaldehyde, Sulphur dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide and aerosols.
The satellite will provide information for use in the Atmospheric Monitoring Service of Copernican for air quality forecasts and various decision-making processes. Airbus Defense & Aerospace has been a major contractor in the development of the Satellite Launch Sentinel-5P system. The Netherlands Space Office also participated in the establishment of the satellite.
